Pennsylvania Rifle (Project Fourteen)

Contemporary Lancaster Style

I built this rifle for a very special friend from Vermont, Les Leggett. I apologize for the quality of the pictures but I wanted to include this rifle in my book.

Stocked in curly maple and highly carved. The barrel is browned and the lock is left in the white. 38″ swamped barrel, 50 caliber rifled barrel, total weight 7 lbs.

German silver wire and inlays.

The patch box is a combination of brass and silver.

The hardware is brass.
